The Good News About Jesus
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16).”
Jesus Christ is the Son of God who stepped out of heaven and came down to earth as God in the flesh born of a virgin.
He was born into this world as a human being just like us, except unlike us, He was the perfect Son of God who never sinned.
Jesus lived the life we should have lived perfectly, and Jesus died the death we deserved to die on the cross in our place, paying for our sin.
He was buried, and then 3 days later, He arose from the dead defeating death, sin, Satan, and hell for us so that we could have eternal life!
You see, we were created for God's design of eternal life at the very beginning.
But we chose sin instead of God, and we lost that perfect eternal life with our loving, holy God. That is why the world is cursed with so much brokenness.
Jesus came so we could have eternal life with our loving God again where true joy, hope, love, meaning, purpose, and everlasting life is found.

How do I receive Jesus?
Mark 1:15 “The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe in the Gospel.”
Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrate His own love toward us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
No matter how messed up, broken, or sinful you are, God loves you and He wants you. Jesus is the only way to God (John 14:6). How can you receive Jesus?

REPENT To repent is to change your mind about your sin and turn from sin, and turn to God for forgiveness and new life.
1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.​

BELIEVE To believe is to trust, place your faith in Jesus Christ that He has done everything necessary to save you through His death and resurrection.
​Romans 10:9 "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

RECEIVE To receive is surrender your life to Jesus and invite Him into your life to change everything.
John 1:12 "But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God."
2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come."
